Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is three upgrades to familiar models and also the all-new iPhone Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If lining up in a queue on release day isn’t really your style, and you still want to get your hands on one at the earliest opportunity, you'll be able to place a pre-order for the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19th release date.
The iPhone 17 features a new design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after years of waiting (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.
Inside, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster and more optimized, especially when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll experience a significant increase in speed and smoother gaming courtesy of ProMotion.
About the camera, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also features an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more detailed.
When it comes to outfitting your iPhone 17, you won't be disappointed. Retailers like Campad Electronics are already offering a vast array of cases for all models, so whether you're after a transparent case to display your phone, a leather case for a luxurious touch, or a rugged case for heavy-duty use, you will find it at Campad Electronics.
